Japanese Lacquered Wood Jewelry Storage Chest Music Box C-1950s 11.75”D For Sale

This listing is for a vintage 1950s hand painted and lacquered wood Japanese jewelry storage chest and music box. It is lined with blue fabric. The music box works. The chest measures approximately 5” high x 11.8” diameter x 8” depth. The cabinet is in good condition with a very clean interior and scuffs to the exterior consistent with age and use. The interior has metal fittings that may been attached to a shelf that is no longer there. There is a whitish residue on the mirror. A fine box nonetheless.
