Great piece of history from northern Iowa, this real photo postcard features various scenes from Pocahontas IA including a birds eye view, school, bank, ME Church, Catholic Church, Courthouse and more. The card is postmarked 1909 at Pocahontas, and was sent from Addie to her friend Marie Collins in Clare Iowa. In the message, Addie mentions \"I am sitting here listening to the big brass band.\" Enjoy!Posted. A bit of crackling with some discoloration on the finish of photo.
