RPPC Capitol Building, Tallahassee Florida- Photo Postcard- Confederate Monument For Sale

This is a real photo postcard (RPPC), unposted, and featuring a view of the Old or Historic State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida. Built in 1845, it was replaced as the main capitol building in 1977 when a new capitol was built. Although threatened with demolition, it was renovated in the 1980s and now sits directly behind the new capitol. Postcard circa 1925-1942. Note the old car and Confederate Monument in front of the building. The Confederate monument was dedicated in 1882 and placed at its location in 1923.Postcard may have normal wear associated with old postcards such as creases, stains and bent corners.
