Reichenbach Germany Porcelain Footed Soup Tureen with Lid and Underplate For Sale

Offering this very attractive footed soup tureen and underplate produced by Reichenbach Porcelain Factory in Germany. The backstamp was used around 1985 and apparently was barely used on porcelain. It was actually the print used on packing material. This set displays extremely well as a centerpiece and conversation starter. It is beautifully decorated with floral sprays and generously gilded. The tureen measures approximately 10 inches in diameter, 13 1/4 inches from handle to handle, 7 3/8 inches across the opening, and holds 14 cups. The underplate measures 12 inches in diameter and could double as a chop plate/platter. Altogether it stands approximately 9 inches tall to the top of the finial. All 3 pieces are in excellent, as new condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or utensil marks and no noticeable wear of the gold.
