Vintage Hemingray 42 Glass Insulator Cobalt Blue W Orange Glow In The Dark For Sale

This item is only available here at Big Dealz Now and we couldn't be happier with the result. We experimented with several different glow-in-the-dark components and in the end we came up with something that we think is spectacular and quite beautiful. It is a slow meticulous process and the components are quite expensive. In daylight, these cobalt blue stained insulators appear to have random splashes of orange on them. But when the lights go off the orange stars come out and seem to float in the air. When charged by natural sunlight or any lighting source, the Stars will glow for a very long time. Absolutely stunning. Rather than one application of clear coat, we used a different product that is crystal clear and we added three layers. The result is a beautiful piece of antique glass that has depth, beauty, uniqueness, character, and ORANGE GLOWING STARS!

We hope you will enjoy having it in your possession as much as we did creating it. We create each of these beautiful stained glass insulators in our 150-year-old converted Tobacco Barn shop. I call it the bro barn. A minimum of four coats of stain are applied to each insulator, then we apply the glow in the dark product and then we clear-coat them, sealing in the stain and providing an added layer of protection and UV resistance. It is a slow and meticulous process, but the result is quite beautiful.
