Vintage Mathie-Ruder Brewing Co. Wausau, Wis. North Star junior beer wood crate/box

for 24-7 oz. bottles Box measures approx. 16 x 10 1/4\" x 7 3/4\" tall.
Wood crate is in very good used condition with some age wear. The lettering is still very readable and bold. Box is very solid and sturdy with metal straps on the ends. There is a large chunk of wood broke and missing at the top rim of box but does not distract. The wood is very thick.
The wood is very shiny on the sides. Not sure if someone at one time put a light coat of lacquer or wood stain on the wood or if that is the way the box was made. Whatever it has persevered the wood well. There is some light paint specs, dribbles on the wood but not bad, minimal. There is very little if any cracking/wood splinting.
This is a very neat vintage beer crate/box and displays very well. Would make a great addition to any beer collection. Thanks for looking, see my other listings.
