Late Edo Period Octagonal Imari Platter:

This platter is 10 inches in diameter.

The inside features an unusual design of lilies arranged in a circle, The edge of the octagon is openwork with a design of plum blossoms and bamboo leaves, and the space around each is filled with small pine motifs, which is an intricate design. The reverse pattern has a delicate impression, with birds arranged on pine, bamboo, and plum. The coloring is restrained. The feet are carefully crafted with steps.   Note some minor gilt wear on the edges  and one very small crack on one of the piercings.
