My set is 8 pieces: one master bowl and seven individual bowls.
The large bowl, which is a trifle bowl, or a master berry bowl, is extremely rare, and so are ALL individual bowls with these original midcentury dimensions. My set is the real midcentury thing. I can’t find ANY large bowl even in this pattern, much less this size, anywhere on the Internet.
Iittala does not now manufacture anything at all in this pattern except small bowls. BUT, you will find current-day Miranda described as being 14.5 x 12 cm. My 1971 individual Mirandas measure 11 x 10 cm. or 4 1/4 x 3 7/8” with a liquid capacity of 8 ounces. The large bowl measures 19.5 x 17.5 cm. or 7 1/4 x 7” with a liquid capacity of 64 ounces. The small bowls weigh a pound each and the master bowl weighs just over 3 pounds.
All items are in perfect condition: no chips, cracks, scratch-clouding or dishwasher residue. These bowls will be packed and shipped with great care.
