RARE Soldier Sketch Trench Art French Soldier Grenadier July Monarchy 1830-1840 For Sale

Offered here is an incredibly rare item: A framed, hand painted period drawing of a French military officer from the July Monarchy (1830-1848), created not long after the close of the Napoleonic Wars. I have confirmed that the style of uniform depicted is also consistent with the mid to late 1830s. The name and unit of the officer is present, but no specific date is given. I believe the unit is the 111th line infantry regiment, grenadiers. The medium is a very thin paper, and there is some deterioration and discoloration on the borders. Paper has old crease lines, and appears to have been folded into a small square at some point, possibly for inclusion in a posted letter to a loved one. I have been unable to locate anything else like this after much internet-based research.
I apologize for the glare in the photos. If you would like to see any additional photographs or detail, please don\'t hesitate to and possible deterioration of paper along margins. There are a couple small holes (pictured) indicative of possible old insect damage. The paper backing on the frame is brittle and coming away. Cardboard mounting is yellowed. Could definitely benefit from professional restoration or, at the very least, a proper frame job with archival-quality materials. There is also some fading to some of the pigments used, although the red is as bright as ever.
