Scarce Buncheong Brushed-Slip Pottery Clay Ceramic Bowl 5.75”D For Sale

This listing is for a rare and very clean Korean Buncheong ware bowl. The wide bowl flaring from the raised ring foot and brushed on the interior with a thin application of white slip and also with thicker swatches of white slip, which give an abstract pattern to the interior. The exterior features applied thin and granular coating of white slip and the whole vessel, save the foot rim, is covered with a glossy clear glaze. This beautifully potted piece measures approximately 3.25” high x 5.75” diameter. It is gently used and is signed on the lower side of the exterior.
